3 REASONS TO LAUGH TOGETHER AS A FAMILY

Some nights ago, my 9-year-old daughter Ava discovered what she calls her "mad scientist" laugh. Personally I think she looks a bit more of a witch's grunt, but she and her three sisters all say otherwise.

We all ended up laughing too. It's not her (well, maybe just a little), but (mostly). And, as I have seen so many times in the past, I have this look deep belly laughs are good not only for us as individuals, but for the whole family. 1. LAUGHTER

Although I am not sure to go personally to using the "magic rain", I have noticed that when my daughters laugh together or Ted and I have a good laugh, it draws us towards each other. It helps us lower our guard and, in the process, relieve any tension we might feel that day.

2. Laughter creates a joyful home
I recently gave Ava and her older sister Olivia's mission in English.
